Terms & conditions
Last updated August 2026. Questions about anything below? Get in touch.
1. Who we are
Dirt Bikes Ireland is a retailer based in Virginia, Co. Cavan, Ireland, selling kids' quads, kids' dirt bikes, mobility scooters, generators and related parts. You can reach us at dirtbikesireland2026@gmail.com or via our contact page.
These terms apply to every order placed through dirtbikesireland.com. By placing an order you agree to them.
2. Pricing and payment
All prices are listed in euro (EUR) and include VAT where applicable. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
Payment is taken in full at checkout unless you have arranged a Christmas Club payment plan with us. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout.
3. Orders
When you place an order you'll receive an email confirmation. This confirms we've received your order — a contract is formed when your order is accepted and dispatched or handed over.
If an item is unavailable or there's a pricing error, we'll contact you and offer a replacement or a full refund.
4. Age and safety
Kids' quads and dirt bikes are off-road machines intended for use on private land with the landowner's permission, under adult supervision at all times.
Age and size guidance on product pages is a guide only — the parent or guardian is responsible for deciding whether a machine is suitable for a child, and for providing appropriate safety gear (helmet, gloves, boots and protective clothing).
Machines must never be used on public roads unless the specific model is road-legal and used in line with Irish law.
5. Christmas Club payment plans
Christmas Club plans let you pay for a machine in weekly, fortnightly or monthly instalments. A plan starts with a €100 deposit.
The €100 deposit is the only non-refundable part of a plan. All additional payments above the deposit are refundable if you cancel before collecting your machine.
The machine remains the property of Dirt Bikes Ireland until the plan is paid in full. You collect or take delivery of your machine once the balance is cleared.
6. Your right to cancel (distance selling)
Under EU consumer law you have 14 days from the day you receive your order to change your mind and return it for a refund, provided the item is unused and in its original condition.
Because our machines are fully assembled and tested before handover, machines that have been ridden or used may be subject to a deduction for diminished value.
To cancel, contact us at dirtbikesireland2026@gmail.com within the 14-day period.
7. Warranty and faults
Every machine comes with the manufacturer's warranty detailed on its product page, alongside your statutory rights under Irish consumer law.
If something goes wrong, contact us first — we'll always try to repair or resolve the issue before anything else.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer. We are not liable for losses caused by misuse of a machine, use without proper safety equipment, or use contrary to the guidance provided.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
