Which size fits which rider?

A quick sizing guide — if you're between two sizes, go with the rider's confidence rather than their age.

Irish dirt bike buying guide

Most Irish buyers land on one of these three. Compare the starter, the all-rounder and the big-wheel machine, then jump straight to the one that fits.

Best for first bikes (4–8)

KLF PRO 50cc Kids Dirt Bike

50cc · automatic · throttle limiter · low seat

The classic starter. Automatic so there's no clutch to think about, with a limiter to keep the first few weeks slow and steady in the back field.

Best for growing riders (9–14)

OneMX PX2S 110cc Petrol Dirt Bike

110cc · semi-auto · full suspension

The step up most Irish parents make second. Real suspension and bigger wheels for rough ground, with enough power for longer sessions on a track.

Junior/Adult BRZ Racing Pro 140cc Big Wheel

Dirt bikes and pit bikes in Ireland

If you've priced a kids' dirt bike from a UK site lately, you'll know the sting: sterling prices, customs charges at the door, and a box of parts landing with an instruction sheet and best of luck. We're an Irish shop selling Irish customers, so every dirt bike and pit bike we stock is priced in euro with VAT included, assembled and test-ridden at our County Cavan base, and covered by a warranty we actually honour ourselves.

Our range covers the full journey — from 50cc automatic starters with throttle limiters for young first-timers, through 110cc and 125cc semi-auto and manual pit bikes for growing riders, up to 140cc and 160cc big-wheel machines for teens and adults. We also stock electric dirt bikes for riders who need something quieter for gardens and built-up areas.

Because we're based in Ireland, support is local. Spares are on the shelf in Cavan, advice is a phone call away, and collection means you leave with a bike that's fuelled, checked and ready. If you're buying for Christmas or a birthday, the Christmas Club lets you pay the bike off week by week with a €100 deposit, no interest and no fees.

Questions we get asked

What size dirt bike suits my child?

As a rough guide: 50cc suits riders around 4–8 years, 110–125cc suits 9–14 years, and 140cc–160cc big-wheel bikes suit confident teens and adults. Inside leg and confidence matter more than age — message us and we'll help you size it.

Do the bikes arrive built?

Yes. Every bike is unboxed, assembled, set up and test-ridden by us before it goes out. No flat-pack, no guesswork.

Is there a warranty?

Every machine comes with a warranty and we keep spares in stock, so if something needs a part we can sort it quickly rather than sending you off to a supplier abroad.

Are these dirt bikes road legal in Ireland?

No — these are off-road dirt bikes and pit bikes for private land use only: fields, tracks and trails with the landowner's permission. They cannot be taxed or insured for Irish public roads.

Petrol or electric — which should I choose?

Electric bikes are quiet, low-maintenance and great for gardens and noise-sensitive areas. Petrol bikes suit longer sessions and bigger fields. We stock both and can talk you through the difference.

Can I pay for a bike weekly?

Yes — our Christmas Club lets you put down a €100 deposit and pay the balance weekly, fortnightly or monthly with no interest and no fees.

Not sure which one to pick?

Between two sizes or not sure where to start? Call us on 089 262 7647 or call in to us in County Cavan — we'll match the bike to the rider, and the Christmas Club lets you pay it off week by week.
