Irish quad buying guide
Three quads, three very different riders. Here's how Irish parents usually choose — and which one to click if it sounds like your child.
Best for first-time riders (4–8)
OneQuad PX2S 50cc Kids Petrol Quad Bike
50cc · automatic · throttle limiter · remote stop
The safest starting point. Low seat, gentle power and a limiter you can wind right down for a first go in the field, then open up as confidence builds.

Mini KLF 50cc Racer Pro Kids Elite Quad
50cc · automatic · race styling · tether cut-off

Buying a kids' quad in Ireland used to mean taking a chance on a UK website, paying sterling conversion fees, waiting weeks for a courier and then being handed a crate of parts. We do it differently. Every petrol quad and ATV we sell is unboxed, assembled and test-ridden at our County Cavan base before you ever see it, so the machine that arrives is the machine your child rides — brakes bled, throttle limiter set, tyres at pressure.
We stock 50cc quads for first-time riders from around four years old, right up to 110cc automatic quads with reverse for confident kids up to about fourteen. Every model carries the safety gear Irish parents ask us about first: a remote engine stop, a tether cut-off and an adjustable throttle limiter, so the quad grows with your child's ability instead of outrunning it.
All of our prices are in euro with VAT included — no customs surprises, no import duty, and no chasing a UK seller if something needs attention. If a part ever wears out, we keep spares in stock in Cavan rather than sending you back to a supplier abroad. Collect from us, or we can arrange delivery anywhere in Ireland. And if you're planning for Christmas or a birthday, our Christmas Club lets you pay a quad off week by week with a €100 deposit and no interest.
Questions we get asked
What age are the quads suitable for?
50cc quads suit riders from about 4–8 years, while 110cc quads suit around 8–14 years. Every quad has a throttle limiter so you can start slow and open it up as confidence grows.
How do the safety features work?
Each quad has an adjustable throttle limiter, an engine cut-off tether and a remote stop switch, so an adult can slow or stop the machine instantly.
Do the quads arrive built?
Yes — we unbox, assemble, set up and test-ride every quad before it goes out, so it's ready to ride when it lands.
Where can kids legally ride a quad in Ireland?
Kids' petrol quads are for private land only — fields, tracks and gardens with the landowner's permission. They are not road-legal and shouldn't be used on public roads, footpaths or parks.
Do you deliver anywhere in Ireland?
We're based in County Cavan and you can collect fully assembled from us, or we can arrange delivery across Ireland. Contact us with your Eircode and we'll confirm options for your area.
Can I spread the cost?
Yes. Our Christmas Club takes a €100 deposit and lets you pay the rest weekly, fortnightly or monthly with no interest and no fees — handy for Christmas and birthdays.
